Sergeant Martinez is the main antagonist in Season 2, alongside Rodriguez.
He was first seen in Season 2 Ep.4, when it was revealed by Rodriguez, the leader from The Haitians, that Sonny Forelli commanded him to fight alongside Rodriguez and The Haitians against The Vercetti Gang and The Cubans.
In Season 2 Ep.5, he orders his killing-soldier The Assassin to kill Cesar, after being captured by The Haitians.
In the season finale, Sergeant Martinez battles CJ, but is almost killed during the fight. He's saved in time before CJ can give the killing blow, but is killed afterwards by Umberto Robina.
